This was by far my best St. Mary’s experience. My group worked with the fourth and fifth graders, for this experience was just as nerve wrecking as the first time I interacted with the kindergarten and pre-k group. The children really enjoyed the games as well, but I feel like there is still a lot of progress that I need to make as far as planning and explaining the directions. The field work at St. Mary’s has allowed me to grasp an idea of what teaching physical education will be like, and I am also getting to see what my strengths and weaknesses would be as a teacher. There’s so much for me to learn still, yet the progress I have made is simply the stepping stones to my exciting future. LAB 5
